BECOME A VOLUNTEER FOR THE SPCA OF CENTRAL FLORIDA!
(If you are under 18 years old, then skip to the bottom of the page.)
Here’s what you need to know:
STEP ONE: Attend one of our regularly scheduled Open House events. No registration is needed.
Each Volunteer Open House Introduction will last approximately 45 minutes.
STEP TWO: Complete the On-Line Volunteer Orientation. (At the Open House you attend, you will receive the code for accessing and completing the On-Line Volunteer Orientation.)
STEP THREE: After successfully completing the On-Line Volunteer Orientation, complete and submit the Volunteer Application.
STEP FOUR: You will be contacted by a member of the Volunteer Department to get you scheduled and started. If specific training is needed for your Volunteer position, that will also be scheduled at the same time.
STEP FIVE: Enjoy being part of an organization filled with staff, volunteers and pets that enrich the fabric of our community.
IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OLD,
and you want to volunteer IN THE SHELTER:
You must volunteer with your parent or legal guardian.

STEP TWO: You and your parent should complete the On-Line Volunteer Orientation. (At the Open House your parent attends, he/she will receive the code for accessing and completing the On-Line Volunteer Orientation.)
STEP THREE: After successfully completing the On-Line Volunteer Orientation, complete and submit the online Generations Application.
STEP FOUR: You will be contacted by a member of the Volunteer Department to get you scheduled and started. Specific training is needed for your Volunteer position. It will also be scheduled at the same time.
STEP FIVE: Enjoy being part of an organization filled with staff, volunteers and pets that enrich the fabric of our community.
